Did I ever tell you why I chose an adventurous way of life?
By definition, an adventure is a daring and exciting activity calling for enterprise and enthusiasm.
When I first looked at this definition, I thought, “daring, exciting, that’s the life I want to live!”
Over time, however, I have learned that the key to an adventurous life lies in the latter part of the definition – enterprise and enthusiasm.
Enterprise is a project or undertaking that is typically difficult and requires effort.
Enthusiasm is intense and eager enjoyment and interest.
Adventures are meant to be about the things you are passionate about, the things that bring you joy, but they are also meant to be challenging.
When you put it this way, almost anything in life can be an adventure, if you embrace the enterprise with enthusiasm.
What’s your next adventure?
